1. God is NOT Aladdin. God is GOD.
you might tell god dis: HEY God, as you are dat powerful, why nt you do dis n dat.
why nt u heal him or her. why not u tke away all da pain dat we hv rite now?
Isaiah 55: 9 "As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Isnt it so true dat GOD is higher dan our ways.
Are you and i just give da whole chunk of request or shopping list to god?
you may ask god to heal or move in dat particular box or place. but God doesnt move in Boxes.
God see a bigger picture in our life.
To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God simply wants us to be closer wif him.
2. We do NOT pray to change god's mind.
Abba,[a] Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Mark 14:36
wen we pray, we pray for dis and dat, who and who. ......but it reli tkes more faith and strength to submit to His will.
some sayings: God, why kant u gif me dis? i thought u love me?????????????and walk away from god .
Let god mold our heart and do his will.
3. Our frds are nt God
did u realize we tend to turn to godly ppl instead of God? However frds dun control da holy spirit, dey cant do wot god can do.
we gotta be praying and seeking GOD alone. frds, family can let u down, one day your best frd curretly may leave u. your mum and dad may pass away. yr wife or husband may turn away from you. we all are humans. but God will neva leave u alone.
dis verse spoke to me
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matt 11:30
Go to Him and let Him noe how we feel.
4. PRayer is NOT an event, it's our lifeline.
das so many tyms i wanted to pray for or sometyms Drag myself to start praying and within dat 5 mins, it's reli tough hey. even start speaking in tongues or even worship. i found dat i was dwelling into da song more dan God, i noe it sounds wrong. but o well, i mean i m confused as well. newaiz, sometyms we all would be distracted so many thoughts or surroundings. das wot da devils trying to do.
even in church we might me tinking wot are we gonna get for lunch later? who's gonna arrange transport? shud i go 4 lunch wif cell group or shud i go home and sleep or do sum studies? it's you rite? or maybe dis thought was just a past.
I have set the LORD always before me.
